A Crude, but effective way to find the high spot of the bow. As I started to determine and measure out the butts, it occured to me that two of the tubes were too long by 19mm. I called Hank and he was unsure as to the actual butt length. He will talk to the manufacturer and get back to me. Hmmm, possibly end up with straight gage tubes? The other photo is a new mandrel I'm making for pinching the chainstays.

  1. This is more detailed than I imagined. Plus there is just more to building a frame than I thought. We totally get to see the wizard work behind the curtain here.

Interesting about the tubes. I would think that the manufacturer would be more accurate regarding the tubes. But what do I know...be apparently Ritchie wouldn't care, he would use it anyway, right?!
