Time to get busy.  I indicated all the tubes to identify the high spot of the bow.  I want to keep them all in plane.
I will slightly re-curve the upper lug to match the lower one.
Since we will be putting in a chain stay brace for the fender, I'll remove this one.
 From this..........
to this, as the re-shaping of the seat lug begins.

Just received the last tubes for Sellwood Dans new bike.  It will be used as a commuter/sometime Tabor racer/gravel bike.  I'll be using Dazzas functionally beautiful Cadenzia traditional lugs and True temper S3 and HOXPLAT tubes in the front with all Columbus in the back with Paragon dropouts.
Also, Devo dropped off his old Mule for a new paint job.  This was my first garage paint work and I have to say it has held up well considering the miles he has hammered on it.  It's just ugly.  So it is off to the strippers for a week or so.

The art frame is finished.
I put in the Campy binder bolt just for a little pop to go with the polished head badge and bottom bracket cap.

No denying where the bottom bracket came from.
On the wall, with what I think is a pretty cool mount.

I brazed an old MBT cog to a shortened lugless BB shell and added the custom aluminum cap.

The first coat of clear is on.  I put the initial coat on pretty heavy, so I have plenty to work with when I color sand it.

Just polished the decorative cap that will cover the drive side bottom bracket. Thanks to Major Dave for the machine work on it.
Unmasked and minor touch-ups done.  Now ready for the first clear coat

The lug and logo masking is complete.  3.5 hours and many x-acto blades.
The Mouse Grey doesn't look particularly appealing in this photo.  Let's see how it does when the frame is unmasked.

Back from Mexico and time to get busy.  This frame will be a wall display at a firm downtown.  It needs to be finished and mounted by March 11.
After the seal coat, I applied the Sealing Wax Red and then the Light Grey.  The next color will be Mouse Grey.  This livery is vintage Volkswagen from the early fifties.
