I have foolishly run out of acetylene and am unable work on Brianeros frame. Because of the upcoming Kermesse at Kreugers Farm and going to Sun River next week, it will have to sit until after Tinas big bash. But, could this be Devins next ride?

The rough mitered seatstay on Brineros frame. I like to spread them to the outside edge of the seat lug for more mud clearance, strength, and aesthetics. I need the pivot to pivot dimension on his Paul cantis so I can start setting up the brake bosses.

Here is how far I got yesterday. The chainstays came out right on target dimensionally with no realignment necessary. And here is a mock up with the uncut seatstays. They might look a little odd because I have only formed the lower bend. Today I hope to reshape the bending madrel to fit the large diameter of the upper seatstay and finish the bends. We will see...........

Here is a pic of the extended seat lug point on Brianeros frame. I think it looks better than the the original wimpy point. As soon as the carpet guys leave, I will start installing his rear triangle.

Here is just a few of the outstanding pictures that
Robin Straughan took yesterday of Dylans and Jimbos bikes.
I tried to put a bunch on our FB page, but failed miserably.

Since the shot I took yesterday of the dropout/chainstay join was so blurry, here's another. I've decided Brians chainstay length will be the classic 435mm at 64.5 degrees.

Starting to fit up the chainstays. I hope this is enough mud clearance for Brian. If it's not too blurry, look at the dropout/chainstay join. Perfect. After this, I spent the last few cooler hours transforming the frame from a single to a multi speed. I silver brazed the new cable stops, cable return pulley, etc. to the front triangle. Now to go finish building up Jimbos bike.

Ready to silver braze. The visiting relatives are gone and the wedding is over. The shop is moved for the most part and I have finished a few of the small jobs that have been nagging at me, so lets fire up Brios frame or the Pheonix, as he calls it. Here is the cold set Henry James SS dropouts and Columbus chainstays in my fixture fluxed and ready to be sweat.

Here is some more pics of Jimbos frame.
Now on to Brians.

Jimbos frame is finished! Robin won't be over until later on today, but I wanted to show off the great paint job. Robin is going to shoot some pro photos that I am going to send to Ninkasi as they have requested. Then I will install the head set and coat the frame internally with Frame Saver.
