Here is the completed right dropout with the SS face.  I certainly didn't need to polish it, couldn't help myself.
Now that the faces are on, I bend the tabs to align the chain stays with the bottom bracket. I measure 10 mm and use my trusty 16 in. thumb wrench to accomplish this task.

Here's a couple of shorelines shot in macro.  In the second pic you can see how the silver wicks in the sanding lines.  Sanding in the direction you want the silver to flow aids in the capillary action.


I am going to make a one piece stainless steel dropout face for the drive side. We will how this goes.
Wow, almost a month since my last post.  Since I've been back, I've been futzing with the the lugs until I was happy with them.  Them and the pipes are cleaned, sanded, and ready to silver braze.
