Still playing with the removable tail light mount.  It looks too long and spindly.
If the light  and/or rack mount aren't in use, a screw like this can be used.  This was a chain ring bolt I drilled and tapped for a 5 mm thread and then turned down the head O.D.
Just a shot with Robins caliper and the cable routing.

Robins frame is finished, less the fender/rack mounts and doing some of the machine work.  My seat tube ream gave up on me last night, so that will push the completion out a little.  Ordered a new one this morn.
I started playing around with the removable tail light mount.  This is very rough, just trying to get ideas.  Also going to look at a rack mount that can be substituted for the tail light.

The front triangle and chainstays are brazed up.  I weighed it with the uncut seatstays and it came out to 4 lbs. 1 oz.  So the final weight will be well under 4 lbs.
Dimensionally, it came out spot on.
Just starting to conceptualize the tail light mount.  It will be threaded to accept the fender mount screw through the "brake" bridge.  It will be removable, for when a rack is mounted.  I bought a cheesy little tube bender from HF, and it bends the stainless tubing quite well!
