I've been busier than an old guy ought to be. But, Brodys frame is finished and here is the binder I fabbed for it.  I wanted it minimal.

Here is his frame through paint.

He has been riding the hell out of it on the Chehalem mountain gravel roads.

Working hard on Brodys frame. The canti posts are brazed in place.

Doing a post braze fit check. Right on!

End of the day yesterday. Almost done.
Here is a couple of shots of Gregs completed bike. So sweet and weighs in substantially less than 23 lbs.ready to ride. And that's with 35mm tires and disc brakes.

With Gregs bike nearing completion, I thought it was time to show Brodys whip some love.
The seat stays are fully silver brazed in.
Working on  the bridge. This tubing is actually smaller in diameter than the seat stay. Doesn't look like it in the pic, though. The bend is too acute, I'll bend a smoother one tomorrow.
Fitting up the canti bosses. And as always, thank you Don Ferris for your beautiful stuff!

The color sanding and buffing out the nibs, etc. is done.

Time to start the frame saver and assembly, unless Greg wants to do his own component build. I already put on the rear caliper, couldn't stop myself.

The Blue and first coat of clear is on. I put the decal this morning and it went swimmingly! I will let it dry over night before I start sanding for the second coat of clear. I want to make sure there no moisture entrapment under the decal.

The bands and logo are finished.

After spending a couple of hours detailing Gregs frame set prior to putting on some color, I started fitting up Brodys seat stays.
These are 14 mm taper seat stays. I'll finish the fitting as soon as I have the brakes, so I can insure pad alignment.
Mark from Roseburg dropped off this fine old FUSO built by Dave Moulton. I just dropped it off for strip, derust, and media blast. It will be refinished in a period correct livery.
