Kevin wanted a permanent tail light mount, so I came up with this one I made out of 10 mm 4130 tubing and a metric acorn nut.  I felt it had to have a little elegance, so put a curve in it.  Now that i know it works, I will finish it cosmetically.

"Kyle" is finished and from all the feed back from all the folks that pass through the garage, it is by far the most popular paint job.

 Craigs coupled cross frame is done.  All Llewellyn lugs and dropouts with True Temper and Columbus tubes.

 I really like the bend in the seat stays.

And Kevins rain  frame is moving along nicely.  The seat stays are on and ready to braze on the fender bridges.

Next was the Sea Foam Green.

Now that the freezing temperatures are gone I can finish up Craigs frame.  All masked and ready for the blue.

 Kevins lugs and tubes are sanded and solvent washed, ready for brazing.

I am working on Kevins frame.  The dropout slots are cut and ready for some brass.  Then silver braze the stainless dropout faces.

 The seat tube is brazed in and I started blocking the front triangle.

 Now that Craigs frame is nearing completion, time to start work on a new frame.This will be Kevins new rain bike.  He has a tendency to bust the BB shells out of frames, so we will use the sturdy Nova "Smoothy" BB and increase the butt length and wall thickness going into the BB.

 The Farr frame set is blasted and primed, awaiting the final decision from the customer on the colorways.

With the cold we are having, I preheat everything before going into the garage to paint.

 Drilling and tapping the holes for the head badge. The tape is to simulate the paint thickness.  I like to get the holes centered perfectly.

 While I was polishing the stainless bits, I thought I would polish the fork dropouts also.

 Masking all the polished stainless in preparation for glass bead blasting this week.






I have another frame set paint in from Farr Frameworks that I will start on this week also. Six colors in a gradient.
