The "project" frame is done.  The bright sun really washes out the pearl white.  I will take it to the Bikebar for display so I can get my frame back.

 I made up some quick bender bars to close up the seat tube/ down tube angle a few degrees.  Old Silca pumps have so many uses.

Finally, the first braze on the new rain bike.  Those little wing nuts hold my shim stacks together.  I base my dimensions off of the top of the seat tube and shim out the bottom bracket to achieve correct alignment.

So, here I am assembling bikes, silver brazing, spray painting, and forming and polishing head badges all off the same bench.  A recipe for disaster.

 Tinas bike is now finished, take a look.

I've been quite busy with bike builds and repairs.  Here, the powder blue has been applied and the pin stripes masked.  



After the metallic gray has been shot, I masked
 for the pearl white.  I
 also had a larger logo
 cut for the 38 mm down
 tube.

The pearl white is on and the body of the logo has been painted blue.  Next, I'll apply the clear coat.

Sanded and ready for the first coat of powder blue for the pin stripe I am going to attempt.

 Cutting the extended seat mast to size and using tape to try and come up with a three color paint scheme.  Any ideas?

 Just a little pictorial of how I do my miters.  I use the BikeCad Pro software to make the patterns, then cut after determining the position on the tube.

 I finish up the outside edges with a belt sander.

Then get the inners with this very aggressive sanding roll.

Finally, I use a piece of head tube diameter and 80 grit to finish it off.

Some serious carving going on here. I am free handing them until I like them.
